The Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals is known as administrative relief that protects immigrants who came to the country as children from deportation.

The Requirements for DACA is: The participant must be under 31 years of age as of June 15, 2012 and have come to the US before their 16th birthday. Have stayed in the US since June 15, 2007 to present. The participant was in the United States on June 15, 2012 and the time he or she applied for DACA.

Have to currently be studying or graduated from high school, (be given a certificate of completion from the high school or GED.) or honorably discharged from the Coast Guard or military. (Technical and trade school completion qualifies). He or She is not convicted of a felony, certain significant misdemeanors (including DUIs) or three or more misdemeanors of any kind.
